This Cookie Notice explains how Precision Grip (Pty) Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on www.flappie.co.za. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy. Under POPIA, online identifiers can be personal information, so analytics tracking is off until you opt in.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We also use similar storage such as the browser’s localStorage. Together they remember a cart, keep you signed in, store a share code, and — only if you agree — measure how the shop is used.
2. Who places cookies?
Precision Grip (Pty) Ltd places necessary storage for the shop. PostHog places analytics cookies only after you accept analytics. We do not use advertising or social-media tracking cookies.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These are needed to run the shop. They do not require consent. You can clear them in your browser, but the cart, account, and cookie banner may stop working correctly.

4. Analytics cookies
These help us understand visits, checkout steps, and errors. They stay off until you click Accept all or turn Analytics on in preferences. Refusing is as easy as accepting.

We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or embedded social-media trackers.
5. How to manage your preferences
On your first visit a banner offers Accept all, Reject, and Manage. Manage opens a preference popup where necessary cookies stay on and analytics defaults off. After you choose, use Cookie settings in the footer (or on this page) to change your mind.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. That will not stop necessary storage the shop needs unless you clear site data entirely.
6. How long choices last
We store your cookie choice for about 6 months, then ask again. Analytics cookies, if allowed, last up to 12 months. We may ask sooner if we change cookie categories.
7. Privacy Policy
Personal information collected through cookies is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Updates
We may update this notice when cookies or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
